Our roots: AKVASERVIS was established in 1956 by the Soviet government and privatised in 1992.  
AKVASERVIS is a specialist trawl designer and manufacturer for large pelagic fishing vessels. 

Our mission: To manufacture pelagic trawls using the best designs at competitive prices. 

Our people: We know the sea. Over 80% of the manufacturing staff are ex-fishermen and retired trawl masters. This allows us to apply the best quality and know how in every gear.  

Company growth: AKVASERVIS site extends over 4000 sq. and employs over 50 full time employees.  

We listen to you: Each vessel is unique. We work closely with skippers, trawl masters and fleet managers. We accommodate our clients’ needs and adapt to required trawl parameters, materials and designs to match specific client requirements.  

Best quality materials quality of materials are the core of our business. We select the best quality products from a handful of market leading suppliers such as Hampidjan. Netmark,, Euronete, Van Beelen, Ymuiden Stores and BMM (The Blue Line). 
We perform independent quality tests on ropes and nettings to assure continued product quality. 

Onboard service provide  
If required, we are able to send our trawl masters to the clients’ vessels and provide all necessary recommendations in order to achieve the best optimal catch from first hauling. 

Inventory facility 
We are able to supply on short notice ropes, twines, netting, wire-cables, sweep line, fender, communication cables, maritime chains, etc.  

Distribution facility: AKVASERVIS has excellent distribution channels. We can deliver to every part and port in the world. Our specialized team prepares and provides all necessary shipping documentation in a simple, fast and efficient manner to avoid delays and possible customs complications.
